Welcome to Urata Designs. These Terms & Conditions outline the rules and guidelines for using our website, purchasing products, and booking our bespoke design and alteration services.

1. General Information

This website is operated by Urata Designs, a bridal and couture design studio based in Cork, Ireland.
Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Urata Designs.

Our services include the sale of bespoke and ready-to-wear bridal gowns, accessories, alterations, and custom occasionwear.

2. Appointments & Consultations

All appointments must be booked in advance via our online booking form, by email, or by phone.
When booking an appointment, you agree to provide accurate and complete contact information.

Consultation fees (if applicable) are non-refundable but can be transferred if you reschedule within 48 hours’ notice.
We kindly ask that you arrive on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.

3. Orders & Payments

For bespoke and made-to-measure garments, a deposit is required to confirm your order.
The remaining balance must be paid before collection or delivery of the finished piece.

Deposits are non-refundable once work or material procurement has begun.
Payments can be made by card, bank transfer, or cash (in-store only).
Prices include VAT where applicable.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally authorized to use the payment method provided.

4. Alterations & Fittings

Alteration timelines vary depending on the complexity of the work and wedding dates. We recommend booking fittings at least 6–8 weeks before your event.
Final fittings are essential to ensure the perfect fit.

Once the final fitting has been approved and the garment collected, Urata Designs is not responsible for any further adjustments or damages.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Due to the bespoke and handcrafted nature of our garments, all custom orders and alterations are final sale and cannot be refunded or exchanged.

For ready-to-wear products purchased online:

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for unworn, unaltered items in their original packaging.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Custom, personalized, or sale items are non-returnable.

To initiate a return, please contact us at info@uratadesigns.ie with your order number.

6. Shipping & Collection

Orders are shipped via registered courier or can be collected in-store by appointment.
Shipping times vary by destination, and tracking information will be provided.

Urata Designs is not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

7. Product Care & Responsibility

Each garment is crafted with care using high-quality materials.
Please follow the care instructions provided on your item label or by our team.
We are not liable for damages caused by improper cleaning, storage, or handling.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

Your personal information is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We take great care to ensure that your data is secure and only used for legitimate business purposes such as order processing and communication.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including images, designs, text, and logos — is the property of Urata Designs and is protected by copyright law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any material without prior written consent.

10. Liability

While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all product descriptions or prices are error-free.

Urata Designs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from the use of our services or website.
